The Teal Lake Singers is the name of the Youth Drum in the Negaunee Public School District. The drum originated under the title IX Michigan Indian Education Program, and with the aid of 2% money from the Sault Tribe. Currently we are operating under 2% monies only since the switch from title IX to title VII (which dosen't allow for cultutal activities and learning). We drum every Monday at Lakeview Elementary School in Negaunee from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Everyone is welcome. For verification call Kate Peterson at Lakeview elementary 475-7803
