We would like to Congratulate Elmer Knox and Anna Detz on their re-election to the Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians, Inc. council seats and welcome George F. Lewis, Sr. and Roma Battice as the newly elected represenatives of the council. GRBOI, Inc. and the Archimedes LLC Group of Muskegon announce an agreement: "The Grand River Bands and Archimedes did not disclose the specific terms of their agreement, nor did prepared statements mention a "casino." However, an Archimedes official said "it should be assumed" the agreement concerns the development of an Indian casino." Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians, Incorporated announced the creation of their web sites located at: GRBOI.net and GRBOI.org

The Negake-Stone Grand River Council is the historical and traditional council of the Rodney L. Negake families. The council has been re-convened and mandated, by the family, to acquire and disseminate any and all information regarding the future of the Grand River Bands of Ottawa citizens. This includes re-affirmation, docket 58 money, and all information obtained from the Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians, Inc.
